I've been involved with Madison Hours since it started in 1996. I currently serve as Board President. Over the years I've used Hours for many things - massage, clothing repair, food, bike repairs, blankets, gifts, homemade candles and soap.... I've earned Hours teaching people basic web design, selling CDs and through my business, Mother Fool's Coffeehouse. My favorite thing about Hours is that it helps build a local support network of skills and services. The more people get involved the better we will be able to meet our collective needs locally. |
